Take your horse to the Veluwe
The horse stables of Hoeve WoudStee are located on the edge of the Veluwe in the friendly village of Epe. With no fewer than 90 miles of bridle paths in the vicinity, the farm is a great starting point for a wonderful holiday with your horse.
Hoeve WoudStee is located on the bridle path near junction 32 of the Horse Route Network. Here you will find the map of this network of nodes. The network consists of 90% unpaved dirt roads that lead through forests and along heaths. In some parts you will find loose sand and only short parts of the route are bridged by asphalted paths or roads.
The ‘Eper Vierdaagse’ is organized annually in the second week of June. Epe is then entirely devoted to recreational equestrian sports. What makes this event special is that private individuals open their forest areas for this event and there is close consultation with the forestry department, so that participants enter locations that are otherwise expressly prohibited for riders. On the last evening, an impressive entry takes place in the center of Epe and ends with a grand party evening.
